Suresh Nagarajan has extensive work experience in the energy and finance industry. Suresh is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of DB Power Limited since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked as the CEO of Renewable Energy Business at RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group from March 2018 to June 2019. Suresh also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Reliance Power from May 2006 to February 2018. Suresh started their career at SBI Capital Markets Ltd in June 1992 and worked until January 1999, serving as an Assistant Vice President. Suresh also gained experience as an Assistant General Manager at TATA Power from August 2003 to May 2006 and as a Controller for Project Finance & Financial Analysis at PSEG from January 1999 to June 2003.

Suresh Nagarajan completed their B.Sc (Maths) degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics from the University of Madras in 1988. From 1988 to 1991, they pursued their ACA degree in Accounts, Finance, Taxation & Legal from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Additionally, they received their ACS degree in Company Law and Taxation from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India between 1990 and 1993.

D B Power Limited is one of the leading energy players in India and is committed to set up facilities at various strategic locations across India to generate around 5000 MW of coal based power. The 1200 MW 2x600 MW maiden coal based power project in Chhattisgarh is already operational and was synchronized with coal within a period of 44 months from the zero date. The 1st Unit of DB Power CG Project had won the prestigious Bronze Shield under the category of “Early completion of thermal Power Project” by Ministry of Power, Govt of India for the projects that completed in the year 2013-14.The Unit 1 is under commercial operations w.e.f Aug 15 by commencing Power supply to Tamilnadu under long term. It also had started supplying power to Chhattisgarh (host state) The second 1320 MW (2x660 MW) coal based power plant in the state of Madhya Pradesh is under construction and has all the necessary clearances in place.
