Nathan Field, EIT, CSM, CET has a diverse work experience in various roles related to applied technology, automation, robotics, electrical design, and maintenance supervision. Nathan is currently working as the Manager of Applied Technology at Dillon Consulting Limited, where they focus on integrating emerging and established technologies to enhance operational efficiency and improve the quality of services. Prior to this, Nathan founded Ascend Data Tech in 2021. Nathan also served as the Automation and Robotics Manager at Enginuity Inc. from November 2019 to April 2023. In addition, Nathan worked as an Electrical and Controls Designer at Handling Specialty Manufacturing Ltd. from October 2017 to September 2019, and as a Maintenance Supervisor (Co-op) at General Motors from December 2016 to December 2017. Nathan started their career as an Electrical and Controls Designer (Co-op) at Lorik Tool and Automation from April 2014 to September 2015.

Nathan attended Mohawk College from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (Control). Nathan also completed the Career Essentials in Generative AI course offered by Microsoft and LinkedIn, earning the certification in July 2023.
