Vania Chivers

Vania Chivers has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to the present. Starting as an International Exchange Student at Luleå University of Technology in 2000, Vania then worked as an Engineer In Training at AJM Petroleum Consultants from November 2000 to December 2001. In 2002, Vania worked as a Data Entry Clerk at United Way of Calgary and Area before joining the City of Calgary in 2003. At the City of Calgary, Vania held various roles including Engineer In Training, Project Engineer, and eventually Sr. Project Engineer from June 2003 to November 2021. In 2022, Vania worked as Customer Service Staff at Rocky Mountain Wine, Spirits & Beer before joining Dillon Consulting Limited in May 2023 as a Civil Engineer.

Vania Chivers completed their education from 1995 to 2000 at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. In addition to their degree, they also obtained the professional certification of P. Eng. from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) in June 2006. Moreover, they completed the Supervisory Leadership Development Program from the Canadian Management Centre in November 2016.
