Sarah Moore

Associate Managing Director at Digital Medicine Society (DiMe)

Sarah Moore has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sarah began their career as an Administrative Assistant at Georgetown University, where they provided organizational support and answered applicant questions. Sarah then worked as a Research Assistant, assisting a professor with research for a book on media portrayals of Hurricane Katrina.

Sarah later joined Amigos for Christ as a Communications Intern, where they produced videos, updated social media platforms, and helped with administrative tasks. Sarah also served as a Summer Intern on the Program Support team, assisting full-time staff with involving short-term volunteers and managing logistics for large groups.

In 2014, Sarah joined the YMCA of Greater Seattle as an Early Learning Specialist and Food Program Coordinator. In this role, they designed lessons, facilitated daily programs for young children and caregivers, and collected data on program performance. Sarah concurrently served as an AmeriCorps Volunteer at the YMCA of Grays Harbor, completing 1700 hours of service and leading capacity-building projects.

Sarah furthered their career with a research position at Sage Bionetworks, starting as an Intern in Mobile Health before becoming a Research Associate. Sarah then transitioned to a Senior Research Associate role, contributing to various research projects.

Most recently, Sarah held roles at Amazon and Digital Medicine Society (DiMe). At Amazon, they worked as a Program Manager for Emerging Devices, and at DiMe, they served as a Program Manager and later as a Program Lead for Education.

Throughout their career, Sarah has demonstrated their ability to take on diverse responsibilities, contribute to research projects, manage programs, and provide valuable support to organizations they work for.

Sarah Moore attended Georgetown University and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology with a specialization in Global Health. Sarah also obtained a certification in Applied Digital Health Ethics from the Digital Medicine Society (DiMe) in April 2023.
