Dan Restrepo

Dan Restrepo is the founder of Restrepo Strategies LLC and serves as a Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress. As of September 2023, Dan co-founded Dinámica Americas and previously worked as a Senior Advisor at Macro Advisory Partners and Laurel Strategies, Inc. Dan's earlier experience includes service as a Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Western Hemisphere Affairs at the National Security Council, as well as directing The Americas Project at the Center for American Progress. Dan’s legislative experience in the U.S. House of Representatives involved formulating proposals for Latin America and the Caribbean. Educational credentials include a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a BA in History & Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
