Damien Covey

Damien Covey has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Damien is currently the Vice President of Research and Development at DINGO, a position they started in February 2023. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2023, they worked at Dassault Systèmes. At Dassault Systèmes, they held various roles including Director of Architecture and Cyber Security (2021-2023), Director of Application Development (2014-2023), Senior Development Manager (2014), and Software Development Manager (2012-2013).

Before their time at Dassault Systèmes, Damien worked at Suncorp from 2008 to 2012, where they were a Team Leader for Developer Services & Data Integration (2010-2012) and a Senior Software Engineer (2008-2010). Damien also worked at Mincom from 2007 to 2008 as a Software Development Team Lead, at Reed Managed Services from 2006 to 2007 as a Senior Software Engineer, and at Mincom again from 2005 to 2005 as a Software Engineer.

Their earliest experience in the industry was at IBM, where they worked as a Software Engineer from 2004 to 2005. Overall, Damien Covey has held various leadership and managerial roles throughout their career, showcasing their expertise in research and development, architecture, cyber security, application development, and software engineering.

Damien Covey attended QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2001 to 2003, where they pursued a degree in Information Technology. Their field of study during that time was focused on Information Technology.
