Donna Hessel

Vice Chancellor at Diocese of Colorado Springs

Donna Hessel is an experienced spiritual leader and educator currently serving as Vice Chancellor at the Diocese of Colorado Springs since April 2022. Previously, Donna has held roles as a Spiritual Director since 2014, providing ongoing spiritual care to individuals seeking meaning in their lives. From September 2019 to April 2022, Donna instructed at the Denver Catholic Catechetical School. Donna’s extensive background includes serving as Director of Liturgy and Faith Formation at St. Peter Catholic Church from 1995 to 2014, where responsibilities encompassed volunteer coordination, faith formation, and pastoral counseling. Earlier in their career, Donna worked as an Administrative Assistant at James Keane Company, managing billing and assisting with case research. Donna Hessel holds a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Aquinas Institute of Theology and a Bachelor of Arts in English and German from Clarke University.
