Michael McAlary

Michael McAlary has been serving as a Sexton/Groundskeeper at the Diocese of Grand Rapids since May 2018, where responsibilities include providing burial services, consulting with families compassionately, managing a grounds crew, maintaining grounds and equipment, and addressing client concerns while ensuring aesthetically pleasing landscapes. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Server/Valet at Blythefield Country Club from October 2015 to August 2017, developing multitasking abilities, enhancing communication skills, and optimizing efficiency for customer satisfaction. Michael holds a Cybersecurity Professional Certificate from the University of Michigan, completed in December 2021, and has prior educational experiences at Holy Cross College and West Catholic High School.
