Deacon Tom Hewitt

Deacon Tom Hewitt has served as a Permanent Deacon in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg since July 2015, following candidacy for the Permanent Diaconate. With extensive experience in facilities management, Tom has held the position of Director of Facilities at PHEAA since July 2006 and previously served as Facility Manager at AMP Incorporated from 1983 to 2001. Additionally, Tom was Treasurer for the IFMA - Central PA Chapter from 2009 to June 2015 and Financial Secretary for the Knights of Columbus Council 8921 from 2009 to June 2014. Tom holds a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from the Pontifical College Josephinum (2015-2020) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania (1979-1983).
