Erik Pintar

Erik Pintar is a dedicated seminarian currently serving the Diocese of Pittsburgh, with experience as a Pastoral Year Seminarian at Divine Grace Parish, where Erik played a key role in initiating faithonfirepgh. Previously, Erik worked as a Software Engineer at Google, focusing on front-end web development using Angular for Stackdriver Logging. Erik’s earlier career includes various roles at Carnegie Mellon University, such as Community Advisor, where oversight of Resident Assistants and first-year students was essential, and as a course assistant and peer tutor in programming and engineering. Erik also completed internships in software development at NovoEd and served as a lab assistant at the Medical College of Wisconsin, contributing to neuroscience research. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and pursued Pre-Theology studies at Franciscan University of Steubenville.
