Zaffar Zaidi

Zaffar Zaidi has extensive experience in the field of engineering and research. Zaffar is currently working as a Design Engineer at Diodes Incorporated since October 2022. Prior to this, Zaffar worked at INEX Microtechnology Ltd as a Senior Process Development Engineer from February 2021 to September 2022. Zaffar also served as a Senior Process Development Engineer at X-FAB from May 2019 to January 2021. Zaffar's earlier experiences include roles as a Research Associate at The University of Sheffield from September 2018 to April 2019 and from June 2016 to August 2018. Zaffar also worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Sheffield from March 2013 to June 2016. During their time as a research assistant, Zaffar contributed to the development of GaN power electronics by collaborating with various universities and meeting project targets. Zaffar presented their research findings in conferences and demonstrated strong problem-solving skills.

Zaffar Zaidi completed their Master of Science in Engineering (MSc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at The University of Sheffield from 2009 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the same university from 2010 to 2014.
