Mara Kozic

Mara Kozic is a Bioinformatics Analyst at DIOSynVax. Mara previously worked as a Data Engineer at Syntio from December 2019 to March 2021. Prior to that, they were a Data Scientist at the University of Liverpool from October 2014 to December 2019, where they analysed large scale biological data using Python, Bash, and R. Mara Kozic also worked as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Science, University of Split, Department of Physics from February 2013 to January 2014.

Mara Kozic holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biological Sciences and Bioinformatics from the Institute of Integrative Biology at the University of Liverpool. Mara also holds a Master of Science (MS) in Computational Physics from MS degree study at the Faculty of Science at the University of Split, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from BS degree study at the Faculty of Science at the University of Split. In addition, Mara Kozic is a High School graduate diploma holder in Grammar school from Grammar school in Sinj, and they also hold a High school graduate diploma in Flute from Musical High school Josip Hatze in Split. Furthermore, Mara Kozic is certified by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and AWS Certified Developer - Associate.
