Joachim Delannoy has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Joachim started their career as an Officer Cadet in the French Army from September 2011 to April 2012. Joachim then worked as a Product Validation Engineer Trainee at Alstom Power in July 2013. After that, they served as a Research Assistant at Ecole Polytechnique from September 2013 to April 2014, and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from April 2014 to August 2014.

Moving forward, Joachim worked as a Research Assistant at McGill University from September 2014 to August 2016. In 2016, they joined Sorbonne Université as a PhD Candidate, where they pursued a PhD supervised by Prof. David Quere and Prof. Christophe Clanet. Joachim held this position until December 2019.

In December 2019, Joachim Delannoy joined GE Renewable Energy as a Lead Engineer in Hydraulics, a role they held until November 2021. Joachim then transitioned to the position of Lead Engineer/Site Test Commissioning, which started in November 2021 and continued until the present. Joachim also participated in the Project Management Leadership Program at GE Renewable Energy starting in September 2022.

Currently, Joachim is employed at Dioxycle, where they hold the position of Senior Stack Engineer, starting from February 2023, with no specific end date mentioned.

Joachim Delannoy received their Bachelor's degree in Fluid Mechanics from École Polytechnique in 2011. Joachim further pursued their education at École Polytechnique and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) / Cursus polytechnicien degree in Fluid Mechanics in 2015. In 2014, they continued their studies at McGill University and completed a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Vibrations / Fluids-Structures Interactions in 2016. Joachim then joined Sorbonne Université for their doctoral studies. Joachim successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics in 2019.
