Lan Nguyen

Lan Nguyen has work experience in various roles and companies. From November 2019 to present, they work at Direct-C Limited as a Quality Management Specialist, where they oversee the development of processes for compliance, ensures the quality of services, and interprets regulations for compliance. Prior to that, they worked as a Manufacturing Scientist at the same company from November 2019 to December 2022. In 2018, Lan worked as an Admissions Intern at the University of Alberta for three months. From September 2017 to April 2018, they were a Research Assistant at the National Institute for Nanotechnology.

Lan Nguyen began their education in 2011 at Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. In 2012, they attended École Secondaire Notre Dame High School until 2014.

From 2014 to 2019, Lan studied at the University of Alberta and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. During this time, they also received the Construction Safety Training System (CSTS-09) certification from the Alberta Construction Safety Association in October 2014.

In 2020, Lan enrolled in the MacEwan University Conservatory of Music for private lessons in piano and music theory. They have not yet completed this program, and their end year is unknown.

Lan has also obtained additional certifications throughout their educational journey. In June 2019, they achieved the Engineer In Training designation from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). In February 2020, they received the WHMIS - Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System certification from the University of Alberta.

More recently, in December 2021, Lan attained the edX Verified Certificate for Introduction To Music Theory from edX. They are set to complete the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in June 2023.
