Andrew Green

Andrew Green is an accomplished leader in operational controls and technology resilience with extensive experience spanning over two decades in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Head of Operational Controls at Direct Line Group since July 2017, Andrew is the deputy to the Group Head of Core Technology and Operations and previously held the Head of Service Control position, focusing on IT Service Resilience and Risk Management. Prior to this, Andrew spent 13 years at RBS in various leadership roles, including Technology Resilience Lead and Global Head of Disaster Recovery, contributing to continuous service improvements and governance of technology resilience. Early career experiences include key roles at BNP Paribas and AMP, specializing in IT disaster recovery and incident management. Andrew holds multiple qualifications, including Management of Risk (M_o_R) Practitioner and ITIL certifications.
