Chris Lincoln

Chris Lincoln is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in application development, maintenance, and platform engineering. Currently serving as the Engineering Chapter Area Lead and Head of Platform at Direct Line Group since September 2016, Chris oversees technology services. Prior to this role, Chris was the Head of Application Maintenance and Service during a career break following a surgery from November 2015 to August 2016. Chris’s previous experience includes significant positions at HSBC Global Banking and Markets, where responsibilities spanned global production support for foreign exchange, metals, and commodities, and leading key transformation projects that achieved substantial cost reductions. Chris's career began in consultancy roles, including stints at PWC and AMS, and educational credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath.
