Ian Davis

Ian Davis is an accomplished payroll professional with extensive experience in managing payroll functions for large organizations. Currently serving as Head of Payroll at Direct Line Group since January 2014, Ian oversees a team of 13 and administers Pay & Benefits services for 12,000 employees. Prior to this role, Ian held the position of Group Payroll Manager at Bakkavor Foods Ltd from November 2009 to January 2014, where responsibilities included managing payroll for 25 UK businesses, overseeing relationships with HMRC, and successfully implementing various payroll and benefits initiatives. Ian’s earlier career involved significant roles at Royal Mail HR Services, where responsibilities spanned significant payroll operations for over 150,000 employees and implementing innovative automated processes. Ian holds a Diploma in Payroll Management from CIPP and has a strong educational background from William Hulme's Grammar School.
