Matthew Ashton

Matthew Ashton is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and IT operations. Currently serving as Head of Cloud Infrastructure Services and Head of Hosting and Network Services at Direct Line Group since June 2018, Matthew has a proven track record in developing innovative cloud-based solutions. Prior roles include Director of Cloud and Infrastructure at Maxava, where Matthew defined and launched a global cloud product, and Director of Infrastructure and IT Operations EMEA at Pearson, responsible for managing data centers and delivering cost-effective IT services. Matthew’s career also includes technical leadership at First National Bank, demonstrating expertise in system management and service delivery.
