Matthew Ashton

Matthew Ashton possesses extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and IT operations, currently serving as Head of Cloud Infrastructure Services and previously as Head of Hosting and Network Services at Direct Line Group since June 2018. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of Director Cloud and Infrastructure at Maxava, where a globally recognized cloud-based product was developed to enhance data resiliency solutions. Matthew's earlier tenure includes significant leadership roles at Pearson, overseeing operations across multiple data centers in Europe and successfully migrating hundreds of servers to optimized facilities. Matthew began a career in IT with a decade at First National Bank (FNB) as Systems Manager.
