Martin Lacey

Martin Lacey is a seasoned Pensions and Benefits Manager with extensive experience in pension management across various organizations. Currently at Direct Line Group since August 2018, Martin has previously held significant roles at Royal Mail, including Pension Plan Secretary and Pension Review Project Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing a project for a new pension benefit structure and supporting a £550m defined benefit pension plan. Martin has also served as Pension Manager at both Post Office Ltd and Royal Mail, focusing on pension policy, governance, and scheme design changes. An advocate for process improvement, Martin has implemented six sigma methodologies in defined benefit administration. Martin holds an Advanced Diploma in Retirement Provision from the Pensions Management Institute and has degrees in Management, Organisation Development & Consultancy, and Modern History.
