David Desch

Senior Vice President, Resource Solutions at Direct Line

David Desch has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. David most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Resource Solutions at Direct Line Global. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer/Strategic Advisor at HR Growth Strategies, LLC, where they provided C-level strategy and HR guidance to clients across industries.

David has also worked as the Senior Vice President/Chief Human Resources Officer at C3i Solutions, where they played a crucial role in post-merger integration and redefining the HR team. David served as the Vice President of Global Human Resources at ArisGlobal, LLC, leading the HR organization during a period of strategic changes and preparing for an IPO.

Additionally, David has held executive positions at IMS Health, Bayada Nurses, Aventis Behring, NovaCare, and Rollins Environmental Services (RES). Throughout their career, they have been responsible for managing large HR teams, budgeting, and driving organizational transformation and global expansion. David has demonstrated expertise in areas such as M&A, change leadership, benefit and compensation plan design, employee relations, and policy development.

David Desch has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resources from The Ohio State University. David also completed an Executive Development Program at The Wharton School, where they were selected as one of 50 participants from Aventis Behring and the only participant from human resources. Additionally, they completed another Executive Development Program at Harvard Business School. David has obtained several certifications including Executive Compensation from World at Work in September 2012, Lean Sigma Facilitation from Six Sigma in November 2011, Project Management from Kepner Tregoe in 2003, HR Strategy from the University of Michigan in 2002, and Targeted Selection Facilitator from DDI in 2001.
