Dara Adkison

Dara Adkison is a technical recruiter at Direct Recruiters. Prior to their current role, Dara served as a database administrator for OnShift, Cleveland Stonewall Democrats, and Javitch Block LLC. Dara also has experience as a digital/social media specialist and transitional head of digital marketing.

Dara has a wealth of experience in managing databases and optimizing performance. At OnShift, they managed PostgreSQL databases for all SaaS applications, including the tuning and optimization of internal applications that ran core processes and external analytics queries that aided in business intelligence. Dara also identified defects and improved application speed in active code base by observing patterns in client data/experience anomalies and by constantly monitoring, tuning and improving data standards.

In their role as database administrator at Javitch Block LLC, Dara researched, created, and implemented data recovery planning and documentation processes that eliminated risk of data loss. Dara also developed a plan for a full database refactor through source code and cross departmental research.

Dara's experience in digital marketing began with their role as digital/social media specialist at BabySwede LLC. In this role, they were responsible for managing the company's social media platforms and developing strategies to increase engagement and reach. Dara also created and executed digital marketing campaigns, designed website content, and produced video content.

As transitional head of digital marketing at MGA Entertainment, Dara oversaw the development and execution of the company's digital marketing strategy. Dara managed a team of marketing professionals and was responsible for developing creative content, managing budgets, and executing campaigns across multiple channels
