Boris Guannel

Boris Guannel is an experienced professional currently serving as the Adjoint au chef de Département des statistiques et des études du commerce extérieur at the Direction générale des douanes et droits indirects (DGDDI) since March 2021. Prior to this role, Boris held the position of Chef du département marché du travail at Dares - ministère du Travail from February 2016 to March 2021. Boris also worked at the Direction générale du Trésor (French Treasury) from September 2012 to February 2016 as Adjoint au chef du bureau "Synthèse internationale" and Adjoint au chef du bureau "Retraites et Redistribution." Earlier experience includes leading the "synthese des comptes d'agents" section at INSEE from September 2011 to September 2012 and managing the "reste du monde" section at INSEE from September 2009 to June 2011. Boris holds an engineering degree from ENSAE Paris, a Master 2 in Economics and Public Policy from Sciences Po, and additional qualifications in econometrics from ENSAE Paris and ENSAI.
