Douglas Martin

Douglas Martin, Jr. has a diverse background in the film and entertainment industry, currently serving as an Assistant Director at the Directors Guild of America since June 2021. With extensive freelance experience as a 1st and 2nd Assistant Director for various formats including commercials, music videos, and both short and feature films since January 2008, Douglas has honed a broad skill set. As Director of Operations at Reel Big Entertainment since January 2004, Douglas oversees operational aspects of the company. Previously, in 2009, Douglas held the position of Varsity Sports Show Editor for the Orlando Sentinel, editing a weekly sports program broadcasted in Orlando, Florida. Additionally, from October 2008 to December 2009, Douglas directed commercials and music videos at Lution Media. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Film from Full Sail University and a Bachelor of Arts in Radio/Television Broadcasting from Winston-Salem State University.
