Sarah Gibson

Sarah Gibson has a diverse work experience in the field of interior design. Sarah started their career as an intern at Bullock Smith & Partners, Inc. in 2005. Sarah then joined Synergy Business Environments in 2008 as a Senior Project Designer, specializing in DIRTT. During their time at Synergy, they were responsible for drawings, specifications, budgeting, project management, site dimensions, installation supervision, and punch list management. In 2015, they joined studio 121 as an Interior Designer/Draftsman, where they collaborated with team members and provided general design support and documentation for commercial projects. In the same year, they also started working at DIRTT Environmental Solutions as a Senior Interior Designer, being a contract designer to partner network with various projects. In 2019, they became the Design Training Lead at DIRTT, instructing virtual and in-person training sessions, creating training content, and being a stakeholder for proprietary BIM software development.

Sarah Gibson obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Interior Design from East Carolina University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Sarah also earned additional certifications, including the NCIDQ certification from CIDQ in 2015 and the LEED Green Associate certification from USGBC in 2013.
