Curtis Filaroski is a Staff Attorney at Disability Rights Florida. Prior to this role, Curtis served as a Legislative Intern at the Florida House of Representatives, a Researcher at the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society, a Judicial Intern at the Florida Supreme Court, and a Law Clerk at the Florida Department of Corrections. Curtis holds a Juris Doctor degree in Law from the Florida State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Creative Writing and Political Science from Florida State University.

Our mission is to advance the quality of life, dignity, equality, self-determination, and freedom of choice of persons with disabilities through collaboration, education, advocacy, as well as legal and legislative strategies. We are the designated protection and advocacy system for individuals with disabilities in the State of Florida, and have authority and responsibility under eight federal programs. Formerly known as the Advocacy Center for Persons with Disabilities, Inc.
