Lorena Zara

Lorena Zara has a diverse work experience beginning in 2013 when they were an Exchange Student at Universidad de Granada. In 2015, they were an MSc intern at The Philipp University of Marburg. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Researcher PHD Student at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. In 2017, they were a Visiting Researcher at Biomedical Engineering Alumni Association - University of Barcelona (UB). In 2018, they were a Visiting Researcher at University of Kent. Currently, they are a Scientific Project Manager at Discngine, where they help scientists all over the world get more information out of their protein structures.

Lorena Zara began their educational journey in 2009, when they enrolled at the Università degli Studi di Cagliari, where they earned their Laurea Magistrale LM in chemistry and pharmaceutical technologies in 2016. Lorena is currently a PhD candidate at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam).
