Kiersten Sedlar

Kiersten Sedlar is a seasoned talent acquisition professional with extensive experience in recruitment and talent management. Currently serving as a Senior Talent Partner at Discord since January 2021, Kiersten has played a pivotal role in scaling the company from 300 to over 900 employees across various teams, including Marketing and Community. Prior to Discord, Kiersten worked as a Talent Acquisition Manager and Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at Funding Circle US, focusing on expanding operations in the U.S. market. Additional experience includes a Senior Recruiter position at Compass, where significant contributions to the recruitment process and onboarding were made, and a long tenure at Zappos, where multiple roles were held, including College Recruiting Program Manager and Recruiting Manager, where Kiersten developed and managed various recruitment programs and initiatives. Kiersten holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Michigan State University and has furthered education at Arizona State University.
