Nate Jenkins

Nate Jenkins is a seasoned software engineer with a strong focus on machine learning and data science. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer for the Machine Learning Platform at Discord since January 2025, Jenkins has previously held positions at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer in Creator Technology from October 2022 to December 2024, and at Wayfair where roles included Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist within the Search and Recommendations team from July 2018 to October 2021. Jenkins began a research assistantship in bioinformatics at Brigham Young University from January 2016 to April 2018, and gained experience as a Data Science Intern at Wayfair in mid-2017. Educationally, Jenkins is pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning from Columbia University, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from Brigham Young University.
