Caryn Arling

Caryn Arling has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Caryn is currently working at Discount Tire as the Principal Business & Financial Analyst since December 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Sr Business Analyst at the same company from March 2021 to January 2024.

Before joining Discount Tire, Caryn worked at Versum Materials as the Business Controller, PM NA & EU from October 2018 to June 2020. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing reporting, forecasting, business planning, and capital expenditure analysis for a process materials business unit worth approximately $100 million in Americas and Europe.

Caryn also served as the Finance Manager, Performance Analytics at Window Rock Capital Partners, LLC from July 2015 to September 2018. Caryn's responsibilities included managing financial performance analytics.

Prior to that, Caryn worked at Clear Channel Outdoor as a Business Analyst, Real Estate & Public Affairs from July 2010 to July 2015. Here they created tools to optimize financial performance and provided analytic support to executive management.

Caryn began their career at BP in January 2007 as a Planning, Performance & Reporting Analyst. Caryn was responsible for forecasting, financial reporting, and annual planning for Aromatics Americas manufacturing. Caryn also served as a controller for various IT organizations within BP. Their employment with BP ended in July 2010.

Caryn Arling holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago. Caryn also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration and Management from the University of Illinois Chicago. In addition, they have obtained the Contentsquare Certified certification in 2021.
