Dan Gisolfi is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and innovation, currently serving as Discover Distinguished Engineer and Head of Research and Development at Discover Financial Services since May 2021. Previously, Dan held roles as IBM Distinguished Engineer in various capacities, including CTO for Decentralized Identity and Open Security and Blockchain Trusted Identity, driving initiatives in open technology innovation, security, and identity solutions. Dan's expertise spans client-facing engineering, big data consulting, and managing multi-site development teams, contributing to key projects across industries globally. Dan holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Manhattanville University.
