Lesley Dempsey

Lesley Dempsey is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software development and architecture. Currently serving as a Principal Application Architect and Technical Lead at Discover Financial Services since September 2019, Lesley has previously held roles including Technical Design Authority at Autotestpro Ltd, where responsibilities included the development of a multi-threaded Java application for automated testing of ServiceNow applications. Additional experience includes leading an agile development team at Petrotechnics for oil and gas software, serving as an IT Consultant at BT on various Java projects, and holding several leadership positions in previous roles, including Technical Team Lead at Philips Digital Systems Laboratory and Design Engineer at Philips Advanced Projects Group. Lesley holds a B.Eng. (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
