Sanjay Varghese

Sanjay Varghese is a seasoned professional in payment technology development with extensive experience at Discover Financial Services since July 2017, where Sanjay serves as Principal Payment Tech Development, leading efforts in the design, development, testing, certification, and delivery of Contact & Contactless chip technologies and mobile payment solutions. Sanjay is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert on EMV Level 3 E2E Certification Program across Discover's product verticals. Prior to this, Sanjay worked at Capgemini from January 2006 to July 2017, focusing on EMV contact and contactless certification and mobile payments and tokenization. Educationally, Sanjay holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from the Oriental Institute of Science & Technology Bhopal, obtained between 2001 and 2005.
