Edward A T Carr

Edward A T Carr is currently serving as the Director of Advocacy & Stewardship at Discover Long Island since October 2022. Previously, Edward was a civil engineering consultant from April 2019 to October 2022 and held significant roles such as Director of the Maritime Services Department at the Town of Huntington from May 2012 to March 2019, overseeing a $3M budget and managing waterfront parks, beaches, and marinas. Prior experience includes positions as VP of Operations at Marine Steel Transport Line, Government Relations Manager at National Grid, Lead Environmental Engineer at KeySpan, and Power Plant Engineer at Long Island Lighting. Edward holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Marine Engineering from the State University of New York Maritime College and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Stony Brook University.
