Robert Hammond

Robert Hammond has extensive experience in park management with a career spanning over two decades at the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism, where positions include Construction and Maintenance Manager and Logistics Manager. As Construction and Maintenance Manager, Robert oversees all maintenance and construction activities across 47 state parks, focusing on historic preservation and vehicle fleet management. Additionally, Robert serves as Safety and Compliance Coordinator for the same parks, ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and Business Management from Erskine College, acquired between 1982 and 1986.
