Camsie McAdams

Camsie McAdams is a highly experienced educational leader with a focus on STEM curriculum development and policy advocacy. Currently serving as the Director of Global STEM Curriculum at Discovery Education and the Director of STEM Curriculum at Discovery Communications, Camsie leads the design of K-8 STEM courses addressing Grand Challenges in Engineering and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Previous roles include Advisory Board Member at the Smithsonian Institution, Partner in Academic Strategy at TNTP, and Deputy Director for STEM at the U.S. Department of Education, where Camsie established significant mentoring and policy initiatives in STEM education. Camsie's extensive background also includes instructional leadership in various educational institutions, from high school mathematics teacher to director roles, complemented by a strong educational foundation with degrees from prestigious institutions such as Harvard and Yale.
