Savona Cerra

Savona Cerra is a dedicated professional with experience in project management and laboratory roles, currently serving as an Associate Scientific Project Manager at Discovery Life Sciences since October 2022. Previously, Savona held positions as a Laboratory Associate and Senior Laboratory Associate at the same company. Prior experience includes a role as a Medical Assistant at Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery and a Research Assistant at Ursinus College, contributing to Professor Dr. Beth Bailey's research lab. Savona served as the Treasurer for Wismer on Wheels, an organization focused on reducing food waste, and pursued a minor in Gender, Women’s, & Sexuality Studies to complement a major in Biology. Additional experience includes shadowing a physician at St. Mary's General Hospital and working as a waitress at Attleboro Retirement Village and Margaritas Mexican Restaurant.
