Discovery Museum
Kiersten Dittrich currently serves as the Director of Visitor Services at the Discovery Museum since June 2022. With a diverse background in event management and customer service, Kiersten previously held multiple roles at the Folger Shakespeare Library, including Special Events Manager and Groups Coordinator, from August 2010 to March 2021. Kiersten's experience also includes an internship at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and various positions at other institutions, such as Willoughby's Coffee & Tea and the Alamance County Historical Museum. Academically, Kiersten earned a Master's degree in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in History and Spanish from Elon University.

Discovery Museum
Discovery Museum is a hands-on museum for families that blends science, nature, and play. The museum and its Discovery Woods accessible outdoor nature playscape and 550 sf treehouse blend the best of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) learning on a beautiful 4.5 acre campus in Acton, MA. Originally founded in 1982, the museum re-opened in 2018 after a complete renovation and expansion.
