Brett Shaw has extensive work experience in various roles within the Stanley Black & Decker company. Starting in 1991, they held positions such as Sales Representative, Key Account Manager, and Regional Account Manager within the Retail Division. From 1995 onwards, they took on roles such as National Account Manager, Channel Marketing Manager, and National Sales Manager in different divisions of the company. In 1998, they became the Director of Sales at Ace Hardware in the Retail Sales Division. From 2002 to 2004, they served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Accessories in the Industrial & Construction Division. Brett then became the Director of Channel Marketing for Professional Equipment from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, they joined Black & Decker as the Director of Sales - National Accounts in the Industrial & Construction Division. Brett was later promoted to Vice President Field Sales for the Industrial & Construction Division, where they led a 200+ person sales organization. In 2010, Shaw became the Vice President Sales and Marketing for Mac Tools, where they achieved consecutive years of revenue growth and record financial performance. From 2012 to 2017, they held the role of President for Mac Tools, responsible for North America and Japan operations. In 2018, Shaw became the President and CEO of Discovery Sound Technology.
Brett Shaw completed their education from 1986 to 1990 at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee. Brett pursued a degree in Finance with a field of study in Business Administration.
