Mallory Newman is an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in brand and channel marketing. Currently serving as Channel Marketing Manager at DUER since June 2022, Mallory previously held roles as Brand Marketing Coordinator for BC VQA at Arterra Wines Canada and Events and Partnerships Manager at Grouse Mountain, where oversight of various large-scale events was a key responsibility. Earlier experience includes working as a Community Specialist for ivivva by lululemon, where coordination of cross-functional teams and community events was crucial. Mallory holds education credentials from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and Langara College.

DUER started in 2013 when an entrepreneur wanted to bridge the gap between fashion and functional clothing. With 25 years making jeans for big names like Levi Strauss and a new love of cycling, Gary Lenett saw an opportunity for purposeful fashion that didn’t exist on the market. He partnered with Abid Hafeez, a performance fabric expert with over25 years of experience with technical brands, and DUER was born.Since then, their clothes can be found on the likes of professional athletes, commuters, and every adventurer in-between.
