Shankar Chandrasekaran

Shankar Chandrasekaran is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Head Chef at Dishoom since January 2023, Shankar also holds the position of Executive Sous Chef at The Cinnamon Club, where tenure began in March 2010, encompassing roles from Sous Chef to Speciality Chef SI. Previous experience includes chef positions at Spice Valley, GRT Hotels & Resorts, Sunrise Sdn Bhd, Kini Daya Sdn Bhd, and The Residency. Shankar's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hotel Administration and Management from the University of Madras, completed between 1994 and 1997.
