Director, Diversity & Inclusion at Disney

Queen is a proven HR professional with 10 years of experience working at the intersection of Recruiting, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging. She is a thoughtful advocate for inclusive workplace culture and has a far-reaching and richly textured understanding of the value that diverse teams bring to a corporation.

At Lucasfilm, she is responsible for developing and implementing the global Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging strategy across all of Lucasfilm’s studios. She’s focused on developing a holistic approach that enables Lucasfilm to build and sustain an inclusive culture and attract, retain and develop diverse talent across all of our lines of business including Lucasfilm, global Industrial Light & Magic, ILMxLAB and Skywalker Sound. She serves as the primary strategic consultant to business leaders, HR partners, production leadership, and the internal employee resources groups by providing subject matter expertise on relevant Diversity and Inclusion practices, content and culture.

Prior to Lucasfilm, Queen was at Autodesk for seven years where she led the global diversity partnerships strategy. She worked very closely with Executive stakeholders, Talent Acquisition teams, and Partners to design and implement programs that attract and retain a diverse workforce. Before Autodesk, Queen spent a number of years in the financial services industry at Wells Fargo and Chase Bank, focusing on business relationship management.

Through the TechWomen program, an initiative of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, Queen serves as a professional mentor to young women and girls in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Queen also served as a board liaison for the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME).

Queen holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Nigeria and a Masters in Human Resources Management from Golden Gate University, San Francisco.
