Dr. Stefan Borja Bammesberger

Dr. Stefan Borja Bammesberger's work experience includes serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Rohrbogen AG starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Dispendix from 2020 to the present, where they were the CTO responsible for R&D and Operations. During their tenure at Dispendix, they developed and scaled up a team structure, transformed the company to agile, and built cross-functional Scrum teams on two continents. Dr. Stefan Borja also served as the Interim CEO for a brief period. Before joining Dispendix, Dr. Bammesberger worked at Festo from 2013 to 2020 as a Senior Global Product Manager and Global Product Manager. Dr. Stefan Borja was responsible for product portfolio strategy, business development, market analysis, and product life cycle management. Prior to that, they founded and served as CEO of bockStart, an IT start-up specializing in project management and social networks. Dr. Bammesberger's earlier experience includes working as a System Engineer at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau, where they developed a smart dispensing cartridge for in-vitro diagnostic reagents.

Dr. Stefan Borja Bammesberger received their Abitur degree in German-English bilingual lessons, with advanced courses in mathematics and physics, from Gymnasium Königin-Olga-Stift in 2003. Dr. Stefan Borja then attended the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2004 to 2010, where they obtained a Dipl.-Wi.Ing. degree in Industrial Engineering. In 2009, they completed their Diploma Thesis in Microprocess-Technology at the University of Freiburg. Dr. Stefan Borja continued their education at the University of Freiburg, earning their PhD in Microsystemtechnology with a thesis from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, in 2008-2009, they attended the University of Connecticut and studied solid state physics, astronomy, interpersonal communication, and personnel management.
