Matthew Whatley

Director of Operations at Disruptive Solutions

Matthew Whatley has extensive work experience in various roles related to operations, forensics, and intelligence. Matthew most recently worked as the Director of Operations at Disruptive Solutions, LLC starting in December 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Forensic Operations at the same company from February 2017 to December 2019.

Before joining Disruptive Solutions, LLC, Matthew held several roles at ManTech | Mission, Cyber & Technology Solutions Group, starting as a Security Specialist at HQ, 310th MI Battalion from May 2001 to February 2002. Matthew then worked as a Counterintelligence Analyst / Watch Officer at USCENTCOM from March 2002 to May 2003, followed by a role as a Counterintelligence Special Agent at CCA, 902d MI Gp from May 2003 to October 2006. Matthew subsequently worked as a Counterterrorism Analyst / Area Intel Agent at the Headquarters, Dept. of the Army, Antiterrorism Operations Intelligence Cell (ATOIC), Pentagon, DC from December 2006 to July 2007.

Matthew then returned to ManTech and held positions of increasing responsibility in the field of computer forensics. Matthew was a Senior Computer Forensics Engineer from August 2007 to October 2010, a Lead Computer Forensics Engineer from October 2010 to October 2013, and finally a Principal Computer Forensics Engineer from November 2013 to July 2017.

Matthew Whatley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice from George Mason University. Matthew attended the university from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, in 2000 and 2001, they completed the Counterintelligence Agents Course at the US Army Intelligence Center, although they did not receive a degree from this program.
