Bende Mark

Bende Mark is an experienced professional with a robust background in ICT audit, project assurance, and strategic management. Currently serving as the ICT Audit and Project Assurance Manager at Distell since October 2017, Bende previously held the position of Deputy Head of Change and Strategy at Barclays Africa Group Limited, focusing on organizational change and project delivery. Additional roles include Head of Strategic Projects within Barclays Operations and IT Auditor at Absa. Bende's early career included valuable experience as an IT Consultant at PwC South Africa and leadership with AIESEC. Academically, Bende holds an MCOM in Management Information Systems from the University of the Witwatersrand, alongside Honours and Bachelor's degrees in Information Systems, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, and Mathematics from the University of the Free State.
