Brant Friesen

Brant Friesen has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Brant began their career as the General Manager at M and J Woodcrafts in 2004 and then served as the Operations Manager at Euro-Rite Cabinets from 2005 to 2008. In 2009, they established their own firm called Brant Friesen, CA, where they worked as a Principal until 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Empirica Energy Inc, a leading provider of infrastructure for communication networks and high voltage transmission. In 2011, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Galbraith Power BC, which later became Rokstad Power Corporation. At Rokstad Power, they held the position of Vice President Business Development, where they provided expertise in Live Line services to electricity power suppliers until 2015. In 2015, they joined Allnorth Consultants Limited as the Director of Infrastructure, focusing on developing relationships with clients across Canada and promoting various technical and engineering services. From 2016 to 2020, Brant served as the Chief Financial Officer at Rising Edge Group, a provider of high voltage construction services, overseeing financial operations, funding, and expansion into new markets. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as the Performance Management Director at Rise Advisors, guiding clients in achieving financial performance through various advisory services. Currently, Brant Friesen is the Chief Financial Officer at DistilleryVFX, where they manage the financial requirements of the team through relationships with financial institutions and professionals, as well as overseeing accounting transactions and analysis.

Brant Friesen obtained a BA Honours in History and Administrative Studies from The University of Winnipeg, studying from 1971 to 1974. Brant also holds additional certifications in Excel, including Macros and VBA for Beginners and VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP for Beginners, obtained in August 2021. In November 2020, they obtained a certification in The Six Morning Habits of High Performers.
