Edgar G.

Edgar G. has had a diverse range of work experiences in the field of software development and architecture. Edgar started their career as an Analyst Developer Jr. at Centro Nacional de Cálculo in 2012, where they implemented software components and performed automated tests. Edgar then worked as a Sr. Software Developer at Instituto Nacional Electoral, where they implemented software components for national systems using Java, Spring, and JBoss technologies.

In 2016, Edgar joined Congruent Technologies Inc. as a Sr. Full Stack Developer and later became the Microservices Development Lead. During this time, they developed Angular components and utilized technologies such as NgRx, Observables, and RestFull services.

From 2017 to 2018, Edgar worked as a Technical Lead at axity, where they performed tasks related to design, development, testing, and performance enhancements for both back-end (Spring microservices) and front-end (Hybrid mobile application) components.

In 2018, Edgar joined Kairós Digital Solutions S.L. as a Sr. Cloud and Microservices Developer/Architect Jr, working for BBVA. Edgar gained expertise in AWS and Spring microservices development and was responsible for developing high-performance microservices using Spring Framework and Spring Cloud over AWS.

Currently, Edgar is working at Distillery as the Lead of Microservices and Cloud Technologies. Their responsibilities include identifying areas of improvement and automation, proposing and implementing solutions for new business lines, and developing, fixing, or migrating microservices and cloud-based components.

Edgar G. completed their primary education at Escuela Superior de Cómputo (Instituto Politécnico Nacional) from 2009 to 2014. During this time, they earned a degree in Ingeniería en sistemas computacionales. In 2014, they pursued further education at Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua, where they completed a Diplomado in Tecnología de la información. Additionally, they completed a Diplomado Básico de seguridad informática in the same field of study at the same institution.

Edgar G. also holds several additional certifications. In August 2017, they became an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer through Oracle / Telecommunication Company. In July 2019, they obtained certifications in Scrum Developer and Scrum Fundamentals from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. In December 2020, they earned a certification in LFS242: Cloud Native Logging with Fluentd from The Linux Foundation. Most recently, in February 2021, they obtained a certification in LFD254: Containers for Developers and Quality Assurance, also from The Linux Foundation.
