Robert Ridge

Robert Ridge MBA, CPA is an experienced executive with a strong background in leadership and management across various sectors. Currently serving as the Executive Director at Distress Centres of Greater Toronto since 2019, Robert is committed to providing essential emotional support to individuals in need. Additionally, Robert holds a professorship at Humber College's Longo School of Business starting in 2023. Previously, Robert was the President and Chief Executive Officer of MedicAlert Foundation Canada from 2001 to 2019, where leadership efforts resulted in significant revenue and membership growth, alongside responsibilities in strategic planning and public relations. Earlier roles included Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, as well as Director of Corporate Services within the same organization.
