Leona Say

Leona Say is a seasoned legal professional specializing in project finance, currently serving as Senior Project Finance Counsel at Distributed Solar Development, LLC since May 2020. Previously, Leona held the position of Project Finance Associate at Allen & Overy from September 2012 to May 2020. Early legal experience includes a Summer Associate role at Allen & Overy in 2011 and internships at Castro Barros Sobral Gomes Advogados, Simon Shang & Partners, the U.S. Commercial Service in Mexico City, and the International Trade Administration. Leona holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center, a Master's degree in Latin American Studies with a specialization in Emerging Markets from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies with a focus on Economics from The Johns Hopkins University.
