Theodore (T.J.) Jansma III has over 18 years of experience in the field of technology and project management. In 2021, they began working as a Technical Project Manager at Distributed Solutions, Inc. where they lead a team of 25 persons in delivering business solutions, develops and implements project plans and change management models, and communicates project progress, issues, and finance statuses to executive management. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a UI/UX Software Engineer III at Pyramid Systems, Inc. where they supervised technology analysis and feasibility studies, collaborated with the scrum team and the client, and managed, created, delivered, and migrated USCIS’s cloud-based National Appointment Scheduling System (NASS) technology application. From 2007 to 2008, they were a Teacher at the Chilean Ministry of Education. From 2005 to 2007, they were a Content Editor at Illinois Legal Aid Online (ILAO) and a Post Judgment Help Desk Advocate at Coordinated Advice & Referral Program for Legal Services (CARPLS). From 2004 to 2005, they were a Senatorial Externship at Senator Carl Levin's Office and a Judicial Externship at 61st District Court – Judge Michael Christensen.

T.J. Jansma III obtained their Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law between 2002 and 2005, with a field of study in Law. Prior to that, they obtained a BA from Denison University between 1996 and 2000, with a major in Communication and a minor in History. Theodore (T.J.) also holds several certifications, including a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Professional from Scrum.org (2021), ITIL IT Service Management from EXIN (2013), CompTIA A+ (IT Technician) from CompTIA (2009), PMP from the Project Management Institute (2017), and CompTIA Security+ ce from CompTIA (2016).
